Welcome to Casa Signora.
Darlene, Hansel, and I are so glad you're here.
For as long as I can remember, I've enjoyed helping people feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. Over the years, friends, neighbors, and families have trusted me with some of the most important people in their lives - their children.
As The Rose Park Nanny, my goal is simple:
Create a safe, welcoming, structured environment where children can learn, grow, play, and be themselves.
I believe childcare is about more than simply keeping children occupied.
It's about helping children develop the habits and values that will serve them throughout their lives.
At Casa Signora, children are encouraged to:
Use good manners
Be respectful to others, including pets
Clean up after themselves
Practice kindness
Complete homework and reading assignments
Treat animals gently and responsibly
Build confidence and independence
"Figure it out" and basic problem-solving
Every child deserves a place where they feel safe, supported, and valued.
Most nannying takes place at Casa Signora, my home in Rose Park.
Casa Signora is designed to feel like a child's second home - comfortable, welcoming, and filled with opportunities for learning and growth.
Children who spend time here enjoy:
Reading and quiet activities
Homework support
Creative projects
Games, puzzles and playtime
Outdoor activities
Positive social interaction
Structure and routine
My goal is to provide an environment that balances fun, responsibility, and personal growth.
One of my favorite spaces at Casa Signora is the Study Grotto.
The Study Grotto is a dedicated learning space designed to encourage focus, reading, and educational growth.
In a world full of screens and distractions, I believe children benefit from having a place where they can slow down, think, read, learn, and complete their work with pride.
Whether it's homework, reading practices, or creative learning activities, the Study Grotto helps children build habits that will benefit them for years to come.
Casa Signora is home to two small dogs, Hansel and Darlene, and my landlord, Señor Sean.
Children are taught how to interact with animals respectfully and responsibly.
Learning kindness toward pets helps children develop empathy, patience, and respect for living things.
Many children quickly become friends with the dogs and enjoy having them around as part of the Casa Signora experience.
It's never too early for children to make sure there isn't a little velcro dog standing around their ankles.
Families often tell me they appreciate my:
Warm personality
Dependability
Patience
Calm approach
Sense of humor
Focus on manners and respect
Genuine care for children
I believe every child deserves encouragement, positive attention, and an environment where they can succeed.
When your child is with me, I will do my best to provide:
A safe environment
Positive guidance
Respectful communication
Age-appropriate activities
Consistent supervision
Encouragement and support
I take the trust families place in me seriously and strive to create an experience that both children and parents feel good about.
